1. Up Selling with the new ‘Value Add’ feature

Many of you have been asking us about the possibility of tracking and encouraging your staff to upsell. We have just released a new feature we call ‘Value Add’. This feature allows you to setup value add services such as treatments which can then be booked in on the Appointments page and/or sold at POS. As an owner/manager of a salon you can now track the performance of your staff with regards to upselling by checking out the updated Operator Report.

To get going with this new feature is easy, simply enable the setting in your ‘Application Settings’, add some services to the ‘Value Add’ category and away you go. For more detailed instructions check out the video below:

2. Online Booking Log In Details

Based on your feedback, we’ve improved the process of sending new clients their Online Booking log in details. After adding a new client, you can now click the ‘Actions’ menu and select ‘Send Online Booking Login’. This will email and/or SMS the client their details depending on their ‘SMS & Email’ promotions settings. New clients are enabled for Online Bookings by default.

To make this even easier, you can now go to the ‘Online Bookings’ section of the ‘Settings’ and click the ‘Automatically Send Log In Details to New Clients’ option. Once this is ticked, all new clients will be sent their log in details automatically when they are added.
